Whether it’s still mineral water, fruit juice, lemonade or ice tea, the Refresco Group makes what you need to quench your thirst. The beverage manufacturer has a wide range of products to offer under various brands, such as “Krings” and “Hardthof” in Germany and as a private label for food retailing in Europe.
Although Refresco is based in the Netherlands, it has an international presence. The company has 19 production sites throughout Europe, including four in Germany and further locations in Benelux, Finland, France, Great Britain, Poland and Spain. In 2008, the Group’s 2,200 employees generated sales of over €1.2 billion. The secret of its success is: innovative thinking and polished solutions. Not only in terms of the range of products, but also with regard to internal company IT. And that’s precisely where the company has now been employing tangro IM for 6 months in order to process incoming invoices automatically and therefore particularly efficiently.
Around 90,000 invoices per year are received by the two business units in Benelux and Germany alone; Europe-wide, around 200,000 invoices per year have to be entered, checked and paid. Until recently, these documents were largely processed and routed via a huge variety of companies manually or with the support of Outlook.
