tangro at DSAG annual conference: Focus on process digitalisation

With tremendous interest from visitors, plenty of interesting discussions and project enquiries, and a very positive response to tangro Inbound Suite for the automated processing of inbound documents, the DSAG annual conference for 2018 was a very successful event for tangro. The presentation given by partner Conrad Electronic on using the tangro solution for the automated processing of incoming customer orders was also very well received.

Andreas Ehret, Head of Sales at tangro, was more than satisfied: "Our stand was constantly busy with visitors, which was very encouraging.  This shows how much businesses value the SAP-embedded nature of our software as well as the consistency it offers. IT departments and other areas of the business know that with our solutions, they can fully digitalise their processes and leverage synergies."

The tangro Inbound Suite comprises solutions for processing common types of documents in purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes. All modules are SAP-embedded, which means they are integrated directly into the SAP ERP system with no interfaces. For processes such as automated order processing, this offers significant value added because the system doesn't need an upstream workstation and accesses SAP master and transaction data directly.

This was confirmed by Robert Scheuchenpflug, Director of ERP Systems and deputy IT manager at Conrad, in his presentation: "We opted for tangro because all the interpretation and order processing takes place on one workstation. Any change made to the customer master data is included in the order right away."

The same benefits apply to document processing in the procurement process. With tangro Inbound Suite, this can be digitalised and handled electronically across departments, from the issuing and approval of the material requisition note to the purchase order, order confirmation, goods receipt and handling of payments. Because the tangro solutions give direct access to the master and transaction data in the SAP system, administrators can check, post-process and update document data much more quickly and easily.

And because the tangro software is embedded in SAP, it requires minimal maintenance and support, since all the benefits of an SAP landscape are available - for example delivery via the SAP transport group, SAP release security and rapid roll-out. What's more, the system doesn't need an upstream workstation so there is no need for interfaces requiring time-consuming maintenance. The tangro Inbound Suite supports all commonly used incoming channels and is complemented by additional products for process optimisation.
