Optimazition without risk

BME has brought out the 2016 edition of its benchmarking survey for purchasing, "Top-Kennzahlen im Einkauf". One finding of the study is that the automation of order and settlement processes has still not been universally implemented, and even where tools are in use, little progress is being made. It would seem that businesses are not making changes in the right places.

It is not always necessary to attempt a major switch with a purchasing platform right at the beginning. It is faster and less risky to implement specific process improvements, for example through the automated processing of business documents in purchasing, such as order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices.
